While they were waiting behind the hedge maze, a dark shadow appeared off in the distance. It charged forward, only to reveal itself as the faithful Kurathian Mastiff bearing down upon them.

Revi backed up in alarm, but the dog only had eyes for one person, Anna. He stopped in front of her and nuzzled forward while she buried her face into him.

"Oh Tempus," she cried, "I've missed you so much."

"It's good to see you, old fellow," said Gerald, patting his head. "Now, come along everyone, we've still a gate to get back to."
